ABOUT ROSSLAND PROPERTY INVESTMENTS LTD

A BRIEF HISTORY

Redstone golf resort, golf course real estate and golf course homes in Rossland, BC.The Rossland Golf Course was first established in 1927 as a nine-hole development supported by Teck Cominco Metals Ltd. (known then as consolidated Mining and Smelting and still the largest employer in the region). In 2003 Teck Cominco offered the Golf Course and surrounding lands for purchase under the proviso that development would evolve in a manner consistent with current developments at Red Mountain, and in keeping with the vision for Rossland as set out in the official community plan (OCP).

Rossland Property Investments Ltd. successfully purchased 554.5 acres of land from Teck Cominco in June of 2004. This purchase included the historic Rossland Golf course with surrounding lands and marked the start of Redstone Resort (a.k.a. Redstone at Rossland).
