Castlegar Nordic Club

The Castlegar Nordic Ski Club has been providing well maintained cross country ski trails in the Paulson Recreation Area for the last 50 years. With 45 km of packed and tracked ski trails ranging from beginner to advanced levels, the club hosts over 15,000 user-days every season. There are trails for everyone, including a popular 7.5 km circular route from Mud Lake to the Ben Shaw cabin that is ideal for young families and beginners, as well as numerous longer, more challenging loop trails for intermediate and expert skiers. Several kilometres of untracked trails are available for the more advanced backcountry skier.

Redstone Resort

All trails are graded for difficulty with plenty of Easy, Intermediate, Expert and Advanced Only trails. Also, they are all sign posted in the woods so it’s easy to tell where you are and where you want to go.
The Seven Summits Trail received IMBA Epic status in 2005 and BIKE mag’s ‘Trail of the Year’ in 2007. It’s an awesome alpine ridge ride traversing 30 km of the southern Monashee Mountains.
