Welcome To The 4th Season Of The:
National Golf League (NGL)
A nationwide network of leagues for men, women and juniors
that culminates in regional playoffs and a national championship
What is the NGL?
• A network of existing golf club leagues
• NEW – more options for dates – play up to 6 of 8 9-hole events from late May – mid August
• Both male and female players are welcome, each player can choose which tees to play from
• Scoring by net Stableford points, using 95% of course handicap
• Best 4 of 6 event scores count in the season scoring
• NGL provides an updated leaderboard following each NGL major week
Playoffs
• Top scoring finishers in BC leagues play off in the Okanagan or Kamloops in September 2026
• Number of playoff spots from our league will likely be 1
• Playoff qualifier will invite a teammate from our league to form a two-person team for playoffs
• Top two-person teams from the BC qualifiers will compete at the NGL National Championship at the 2027 RBC Canadian Open, with all expenses paid.
• The national NGL champions will also earn an exemption to play in the 2027 R&A 9-hole challenge in St. Andrews, Scotland, again with all expenses paid!
What is required to participate?
• Must be a Golf Canada member (discounted GC fee of $54.60 through Redstone Men’s Club)
• Must maintain a valid Golf Canada handicap index

How to Sign Up
By May 20th:
1. Send payment by Interac e-transfer to redstonemensclub@gmail.com
• $25 as a league entry fee, which goes to draw and skill prizes, and to cover a portion of travel/golf expenses for our league winner and their partner to play in BC5Playoffs
• $54.60 to renew or join Golf Canada, if needed

For 2026, Redstone has been invited to create a league for golfers wishing to participate in the NGL. The Redstone Golf League will be open to members of Redstone Resort, plus any other golfers in the WestKootenay region who would like to compete in the NGL this season.
Redstone will be holding 8 National Golf League Major nights in 2026:
Thursday May 28, Thursday June 4
Thursday June 11, Thursday June 18
Thursday July 2, Thursday July 16
Thursday August 6, Thursday August 13
Registration in the Redstone Golf League of the NGL is open to men, women and juniors who meet the requirements listed above.
There will be no mandatory cost to enter the NGL major events at Redstone, however, entry fees will be applicable if participants wish to compete for the local prizes that are up for grabs each evening. (generally $15 per person)
