LOST & FOUND POLICY

Redstone Resort asks all guests to take reasonable care of their personal belongings while visiting our property. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all personal belongings brought onto the property leave with them. Redstone Resort and its staff are not responsible for lost, forgotten, misplaced, stolen, or unattended personal belongings, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Lost Items

If you believe you have left or lost an item at Redstone, please contact the Pro Shop as soon as possible. Our staff will make a reasonable effort to locate the item and determine whether it has been turned in to our Lost & Found.

If an item is located and claimed by phone, staff can place it aside with the owner’s name and contact information until it can be collected.

When an item is turned in and staff have reasonable information identifying its owner, we may attempt to contact that person. However, Redstone cannot guarantee that lost items will be found, turned in, identified, or returned to their owner.

30-Day Holding Period

Ordinary items turned in to Redstone’s Lost & Found will generally be held for 30 days to provide their owner with a reasonable opportunity to claim them.

After the 30-day holding period, unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of at Redstone’s discretion, subject to applicable law. Redstone is not responsible for replacing or compensating for items that remain unclaimed following the applicable holding period.

Items that have been identified and set aside for a guest but remain uncollected may be held longer at Redstone’s discretion. All remaining uncollected ordinary Lost & Found items may be donated or disposed of at the end of the golf season. Guests who have asked us to hold an item are responsible for arranging its collection before the end of the season.

Shipping & Return of Items

Guests who are unable to return to Redstone to collect an item may ask whether shipping can be arranged. Shipping is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

When Redstone agrees to ship an item, all costs associated with its return are the responsibility of the guest. This may include, but is not limited to, postage or courier charges, packaging materials, staff time required to package and process the shipment, and any additional costs reasonably incurred in arranging its return.

Redstone is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, or other issues occurring after an item has been transferred to a postal or courier service, except to the extent required by applicable law.

Please Check Before You Leave

The best way to get your belongings home is to check before leaving the property. Please check your golf cart, bag, locker or change area, restaurant table, patio, Pro Shop and any other areas you have used during your visit.

If you realize after leaving that something is missing, please contact the Pro Shop immediately. The sooner we know what we’re looking for and where it may have been left, the better chance our team has of locating it.

While we’re always happy to help reunite guests with their belongings, the ultimate responsibility for personal property remains with the guest.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
