The Clubhouse at Redstone Golf Course – THE BEST Restaurant in Rossland, BC!

Nestled in the scenic beauty of Rossland, BC, the Clubhouse at Redstone Golf Course stands out for its picturesque setting. It’s also the best restaurant in the area – if we do say so ourselves! This historic clubhouse alone is worth a trip to the Redstone Golf Course. Celebrating its ninety-seventh summer, it stands as one of the few log clubhouses from this era still in existence. Built in 1927, when the golf course was relocated to its current location, the clubhouse has remained in excellent condition. It has served as the heart of the course ever since. Originally, the course featured nine holes, but it was expanded to eighteen in 2008 and proudly became the first-ever “Les Furber Signature Course,” a meaningful name to many Canadian golfers.

The clubhouse itself is listed in the Official Rossland Heritage Registry and holds a special place in the community’s history. According to the Rossland Heritage Sites, the Rossland Trail Golf and Country Club dates back to 1922 – the first in the West Kootenays. In 1927, it moved closer to Rossland and built this fine log structure, which has served as a gathering place for members from Trail and Rossland for decades. With its generous proportions, stunning log construction, and magnificent stone fireplace, the clubhouse is a cherished reminder of the recreational history enjoyed by Rosslanders for many years. Its enduring presence is a testament to the community’s dedication to preserving its rich heritage while providing a welcoming space for dining and special events.
