During our Men’s club championship I sunk my first hole in one ever. Playing from the Championship tees hole five is an intimidating 235 yard par three. Add a 1 or 2 club headwind and a forward flag and you just added a whole lot of trouble. All I can say is I hit a three wood as good as I could and it hit the green bounced once checked up and then rolled three feet and went in the cup. For me a 9 handicap that’s as good as it gets. At that moment I realized that seeing that ball roll in the cup from one of four elevated tee boxes is truly a special experience.
